U.S. businesses can be targeted by IT workers from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). These workers leverage U.S.-based individuals to gain fraudulent employment and access to U.S. company networks. Intentionally or unintentionally, U.S.-based individuals can enable North Korean IT workers to bypass security measures and potentially inflict harm on critical infrastructure.
