Follow-up to prior post pertaining to SMS Phishers Harvesting contact info from UPS in Canada…

As a follow-up to the prior post regarding phishers obtaining personal data from UPS tracking software in Canada…I can personally testify that it also happened (happening) in the US; not long ago I received a similar phishing attack after ordering some item online from a reputable website and awaiting delivery via UPS—the delivery took longer than expected and I received some mysterious email saying something along the lines that there was a problem with delivery of an item. Soooo…consider yourselves forewarned—this is not just happening in Canada and the attempt on me was fairly recent.
